Steve, who joined Antalis recently, has spent the last 10 years at Iggesund Paperboard as National Account Manager, working closely with carton manufacturers, merchants, printers, end users and brand owners who use Iggesund’s high quality paperboard brands Incada and Invercote. With a total of 25 years’ experience in the paper and board industry, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Antalis and to the newly created role of Graphical Board Development Manager.
The appointment comes as part of Antalis’s response to the surge of public awareness in environmental and social concerns around packaging, waste and best use materials, which has pushed paperboard to the front of innovation.
The tactile and design friendly characteristics of paperboard, alongside its renewable, biodegradable and recyclable nature, open up a world of possibility for designers and brand owners. Steve’s expertise will be invaluable in helping customers to develop high quality packaging innovations using Antalis’s range of sustainable graphical boards. He will play a vital part in helping Antalis grow its presence in this key market.
Bruce Munro, National Sales Director at Antalis UK commented, “Steve’s appointment as Graphical Board Development Manager will allow him to channel his experience of merchanting and manufacturing into this evolving growth sector. Antalis is a pioneering company with a highly experienced and knowledgeable board team. Steve will be working to help customers to develop their use of graphical board.”
