|Route One Print Kick off a New Round of Investments for 2018
Over the last four years, Route One Print has invested over £20 million into their factory and they don’t intend to slow down any time soon as they get ready to install their first new press this year.
Route One Print are proud to say that none of their equipment is more than five years old as they constantly update their factory with the very latest in print technology. Always looking to the future, Route One Print are keen to pioneer new advancements.
In their latest batch of investments, the company installed a Fujifilm Jet Press 720S to produce all their business card orders. They predict that, with all its recent developments, ink jet technology could be about to overtake litho as the benchmark of print quality. Their theory was justified after 75% of their customers claimed to prefer ink jet to litho in a blind test.
“The Jet Press is by far and away one of the highest quality printers we’ve seen.” Says Adam Carnell, Managing Director. Mr Carnell is clear that the future of print is digital in his eyes. “By moving to inkjet printing, manufacturing time will be reduced significantly. That means that we will be able to offer same day dispatch for our customers on a wider range of finishes without having to factor in the lost efficiencies that would result from batched litho production.”
This year, the company plans to continue their investment in digital technology and looks forward to seeing any new developments that emerge in the wider industry.
