|Introducing the Inca Onset M
Built on the same technology platform as the highly successful Onset X Series and the Spyder X, the new Onset M B1 format printer from Inca Digital has been specifically designed to offer high quality for the offset, screen and industrial printing markets. Conceived as a direct result of customer feedback, the Onset M is capable of printing short runs,
on-demand and on a wide variety of substrates, including those that are too thick to be printed on offset machines.
Manufactured at Inca Digital’s HQ and production facility in Cambridge, the Onset M offers productivity and quality to give commercial and screen printers the confidence to take lower volume work off their presses, opening up potential new revenue streams in the process. This eight channel B1 printer benefits from Inca’s scalable architecture, making it easily upgradable allowing the machine to grow with your business needs.
A real first for on-demand printing - This full-width print array B1 machine features Fujifilm Dimatix small drop, 7pl print headsfor crisp 4pt text and smooth colours, ideal for short viewing distances. ‘Next generation’ optical print head alignment and calibration systems ensure that precision and high-quality results are maintained through the life of the machine.
A two-stage UV curing process using UV-LED pinning on the carriage keeps heat-sensitivesubstrates cool during the printing with a UV tunnel, ensuring excellent adhesion anddurability. Advanced technologies such as recirculating printheads, automated printheadcleaning and collision avoidance ensure consistent print quality and reduced downtime.
Workflow for the new Onset M is managed by Inca Digital’s proprietary IncaConnectsoftware suite. Inca Connect offers a straightforward user interface, easy integration andcustomisation to existing workflow management systems. The Onset M also offers fully automated,semi-automated and manual material handling options, with sheets able to be fed and loaded onto a fixed vacuum table, printed then passed through a UV tunnel to a stacker.
Service and support is offered via a range of operator and engineer training courses either at customer sites, or Inca’s own specialist training centre in Cambridge, as well as remote and field support services through Inca Vision, the company’s remote monitoring and diagnostics software-based customer support service.
Nothing less than an Inca Onset X in B1 format…
