DSales launches Develop mono production system meeting market needs

DSales, the UK distributor for the Develop range of production print systems imaging systems, has launched the ineo1052 to meet the needs of central reprographic departments, in-plant print centres and commercial printers.

With a maximum A4 output of 6,300 impressions an hour, the ineo 1052 is an excellent choice for average monthly print volumes of between 300,000 and 500,000 printouts and peak volumes up to two million prints per month. The ineo 1052 offers high media flexibility including the option to print on paper weights from 40 to 350 gsm in single sided printing and on paper of up to 300gsm for duplex prints. Develop's production print systems are designed to meet the print industry's preferred bleed size for media of SRA3, allowing full size A3 documents with trim marks and A4 booklets to be trimmed to size.

The high performance RIP embedded with the new ineo 1052 delivers the kind of capabilities which help commercial printers and print providers keep up with continuous production demands and satisfy customer specifications. The controller is fitted out with the very latest Intel platform and provides advanced screening technology with a tone curve utility for customised adjustment of tone curves and screening. JDF-JMF compliance ensures full and easy integration into any working environment.

To provide high quality print output the ineo 1052 has a print resolution of 1,200 by 1,200dpi and benefits from using Develop's HD polymerised toner with smaller, smoother, more uniform toner particles for fusing at lower temperatures and producing high quality images.

For online finishing the ineo 1052 offers a comprehensive range of modular options with combinations of folding, punching, booklet making, perfect binding and staple finishing all supported. Large capacity trolley stacking units are available for off-line finishing.

Commenting on the launch Jonathan Whitworth, Managing Director of DSales stated, "This innovative new mono production system is the result of Develop's policy of continual product improvement based on research into customer needs. Instead of producing a 'one size fits all' device, the modular concept behind the ineo 1052 makes a great many configuration options possible, ensuring every order can be customised to the user's needs. One of the system's strengths is the wide range of inline finishing units that can be integrated to create an all round production printing solution. As a result, users can choose from a wide range of first class finishing functions. With a wide range of outstanding features and economical performance, the ineo 1052 is a sound investment for in-house print rooms, digital print shops or commercial printers."
