Ricoh to preview MarcomCentral from PTI Marketing Solutions at Cross Media 2012






Ricoh UK has revealed that visitors to Cross Media 2012 will be among the first in Europe to see MarcomCentral from PTI Marketing Technologies in action. The news follows the global announcement on 21st August that Ricoh had made a significant investment in PTI Marketing Technologies, a leading provider of web to print and marketing personalisation solutions for both enterprise users and print service providers.

Visitors and media are invited to attend demonstrations throughout the exhibition at the Ricoh stand (172) during which they will get a first glimpse of MarcomCentral, a cloud based software solution that supports a multitude of output delivery formats for print and other media, including PDF, AFP and HTML email.

Details of two new precision marketing products from the InfoPrint range will also be revealed - one, an insight tool for predicting customer buying patterns and triggering automated communications, the second a tool for tactically placing customised messages on transactional documents. Joining them will be an iPad demonstration of Ricoh's multi-format publishing collaboration with the Chief Marketing officer (CMO) Council and Quark on web, mobile (tablet and smartphone) and print journal for the CMO Council's membership.

Ricoh's investment in PTI Marketing Technologies is another strategic move by Ricoh to provide complete, end to end production print solutions for customers in a cross media world, ensuring that they are equipped with all of the necessary marketing automation and brand management resources to become true marketing service providers. Ricoh enables companies of all sizes around the world to expand their businesses with tools such as data intelligence, document management software, industry leading digital printers, and other solutions - all aimed to deliver a competitive advantage for customers.

Digital Storefront 5.4 EFI's Digital Storefront web to print solution will also join PTI Marketing Technologies and the InfoPrint range of solutions on the Ricoh stand at Cross Media. The latest version of Digital Storefront (DSF) is available from Ricoh in either self hosted or cloud hosted, software as a service (SaaS) package. In today's competitive landscape, DSF helps printers expand their offering of value added applications to both new and existing customers, such as personalised print products and managed customer catalogues, with quick and easy online ordering and payment. Flexible deployment makes transformational power of web to print accessible businesses of all sizes, with the fully scalable SaaS application eliminating the need for significant capital investment or expertise.
